WEIGHT LOSS

How It Helps with Sleep Apnea

A variety of healthy foods like a yellow bell pepper, broccoli, tomatoes, garlic, an apple, and a Sleep Buddy product with a measuring tape on a wooden surface.

Maintaining a healthy weight is one of the most effective ways to reduce sleep apnea symptoms. Studies show that losing just 10-15% of body weight can reduce the severity of sleep apnea by 20-30%. For some patients, significant weight loss can even eliminate the need for CPAP therapy. Our dietitian will work closely with you to set achievable goals and develop a nutrition plan tailored to support your sleep apnea management.
